• This policy is designed for those who participate in Natural Horsemanship activities and traditional riding.
• This policy covers any member of the Good Horsemanship Society for any horse they privately own, including whilst handled and or ridden.
• This policy only covers you for Great Britain, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.
• This policy covers you for riding in Natural Horsemanship equipment
including but not limited to, natural hackamores, bitless bridles, rope halters, Dually halters and the like as well as traditional equipment.
• This policy will not cover you on the public highway whilst riding with just a string for control unless it is also attached to a bridle or halter.
• The cover provided is for £2,000,000 limit of indemnity with a £100 third party property damage excess. No excess is applicable for personal injury to members of the public.
• This policy will not cover you for teaching or instructing others.
• We would strongly advise that before participating in horsemanship activities that you attend a suitable course.
• Do not attempt any activity unless you feel you are at the appropriate level and are confident that you can safely do so.
• Always make sure that you are in a safe environment for what you are doing.
• If you are riding on the road in any equipment make sure that you are confident that you have full control of your horse before doing so.
• We would strongly recommend wearing a BS EN 1384:1997 standard riding hat even if you are carrying out ground work.
• Remember even with the best horses, they can be unpredictable so be safe.
